For the next 2 weeks (Monday 21st & Monday 28th May) your child can get a 

taste of what it is like to be a part of the Development Squad ABSOLUTELY FREE!!

Come along each night and join in the intensive skills training program:

• 11 years and under 4.30pm till 5.30pm
• 12 years and over 6pm till 7pm

Make sure they wear their shin guards and soccer boots and bring a water bottle.

The second semester of the Launceston City Devils Development Squad starts on June 18th - fees are $40 each term ($80 first term, if you haven't joined before, which includes supply of a full Adidas Development Squad Kit - Top, Shorts & Socks).

The Grounds are CLOSED tonight due to rain. Training is optional tomorrow as there will be no access to the toilets or shed.

Coaches if you were due to train tonight please contact all of your team players to let them know ASAP.

The Westside Committee meeting will be held 7th May at 7pm in the clubrooms Mitsubishi Park - All welcome!

Soccer Starts this Saturday 14th April

The Roster for the Seeding Rounds is on the NTJSA website www.ntjsa.org.au

Please note that U6 St Lukes Mini League, Junior Girls and Senior Girls WILL NOT play seeding rounds as there are no divisions in these age groups. Their games are included in this roster. You can also find the fixtures for these age groups on the sporting pulse website link http://www.sportingpulse.com/assoc_page.cgi?assoc=8328

All other age groups will play out their 3 week seeding period and fixtures for these rounds can be found on the NTJSA website on a WEEKLY basis www.ntjsa.org.au

Registration Fees are due to be paid no later than 30th April 2012.

For those who haven't paid their child's Registration fees as yet please note you MUST have paid at least $75 per child PRIOR to 30th April and have a payment arrangement in place, in order for your child to play Soccer after this date. You can pay your registration fees BY CASH OR CHEQUE ONLY this Saturday 14th April to Sharon Parker, Treasurer, on the first floor in the NTJSA Clubrooms Churchill Park from 8.30am to 11am and 12pm to 3pm (she will be missing for her sons game between 11am and 12pm). Sharon can be contacted on 0408 402 681 throughout the day.

For those of you waiting on Adidas Socks & Shorts - you can collect from Route 66, 142 Charles St, Launceston.

Please note your child MUST wear SHIN PADS to training and on game day.

There is to be no jewelry worn while training or playing. The NTJSA Referees will ask the child to remove their jewelry as it is a safety issue for both the child and the other players.

The Playing Tops are for GAME day ONLY - they are not to be worn to training - this is to ensure that they remain in good condition for as long as possible.

We have approximately 10 teams who still need sponsorship for new shirts - if your team still has the older style shirts it is because a sponsor hasn't come forward from your team. If you would like to sponsor a team please call Michael Hancox to organise.

Registration of Players is nearly at an end. 

If you would like your child to play soccer this season for Westside Devils you MUST speak to Louise Lucas, Registrar, on 0418 322 854 BEFORE completing your Online Registration.

Do not call Coaches or other Committee Members as they are not the Registrar and do not know where the vacancies are - the Club Registrar completes the teams and positions the players in the best interests of the Club and Players.

Westside Devils has a policy where we will not overfill teams where possible so if a team is full we will not take on another player to the detriment of the initial team.

If you are not happy with the team your child is in DO NOT call the Coach or the Coach of the team you want your child to be in - call the Registrar who will be able to look at possible (if any) alternatives. 

With over 320 Players in the Club we cannot guarantee positions in teams.

The majority of the teams are full and we have already had to turn some players away.

This Monday 19th March from 5pm - 7pm we will be having a meet

 and greet for players who have registered or would like

 to register for the Development Squad.

Come along and meet the Development Squad Committee,

 have your child sized for the Squad Members Adidas Kit, 

and meet some of the coaches.

The first Training session will be 

Monday 26th March from 4.30 pm.

The first Term fees are $80, including supply of the 2012 Adidas Training Strip, 

cash or cheque will be accepted at the clubrooms or you can

 pay by Credit Card at Route 66, 142 Charles St Launceston.

Please note you must have paid your 2012 Club registration fees in full 

to participate in the Development Squad.

Teams have been created and we are now starting to send coaches

 the team detail so they can contact players and arrange 

training days and times.

As we are getting closer to the start of the season we can 

no longer guarantee that there is a position available in a team.

You can still register ONLINE, without paying, and we will do our best

 to accommodate your son or daughter.
